NFL star Bobby Wagner moves to historic women’s basketball ownership

Bobby Wagner NFL Career It started in Seattle in 2013. In his second season in the league, he helped the Seahawks win the franchise’s first Super Bowl title.
While Wagner is currently playing for Washington’s manager, the star linebacker has found a way to make his connection with Seattle even stronger. Earlier this week, Seattle Storm announced that Wagner had joined the franchise’s owning group.

“Seattle Storm today announced that Super Bowl XLVIII champion and all-pro linebacker Bobby Wagner will join the team’s owned group,” Storm read.
“Wagner, the Seattle Seahawks’ second pick in 2012, spent his first 10 seasons at Emerald City, holding three of his team’s records in most tackles in single seasons, and is currently earning his 14th season.
Wagner’s historical move towards women’s basketball is Los Angeles Lakers Irvin “Magic” Johnson, in the Great Nicemith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

“I want to congratulate Bobby Wagner, Washington Commander Star Linebacker, by joining the WNBA Seattle Storm Ownership Group,” Johnson I wrote it on X. “I’m so proud of Bobby! We’ve had so many discussions about entrepreneurship. This is just his beginning to build his empire!”

Wagner will join the ownership group, including retired Storm Player and four-time WNBA champion Suberd, former Microsoft executive Briss Rescue Mel, Olympic Silver medalist Ginny Guilder and Dawn Trudeau.
Brummel praised Wagner for the lasting impact he had on the city of Seattle.
“Bobby is a homeland hero who has had an immense impact on the Seattle community,” Brummel said in a statement released by the storm. “He shares our desire to grow the game and knows the value and importance of women’s investment in sports. As we continue to build on the incredible legacy of the Storm franchise, we are excited to add Bobby’s experience and expertise to the mix.”

Storm will score a 15-10 record in Saturday’s match against the Washington mystic. The franchise has won four WNBA championships in its history.
