Nissan recalls nearly half a million cars.
- Nissan It reminds me of almost half a million cars due to defects that could lead to engine failure. Some vehicle owners will be able to receive a new engine as a result of a recall. Nissan determines how many engines will be replaced after inspection by a service technician. The owner will be notified from August 25th.

Nissan recalls 443,899 vehicles after discovering that VC turbo engines could fail. The recall includes the 2021-2024 Nissan Rogue, 2019-2020 Nissan Ultimus, 2019-2022 Infiniti QX50S and 2022 Infiniti QX55S. All affected vehicles have a 3-cylinder 1.5-liter or 4-cylinder 2.0-liter variable compression turbo engine.
Nissan, a part of the motor, had a manufacturing defect in the bearing that could lead to engine failure.
However, before the owner gets a replacement engine, Nissan asks the owner to take him to the dealer for inspection. So the service technician removes the oil pan and inspects it for debris. If they find some, Nissan will repair or replace the engine.
If no debris is found, the dealer replaces it with engine oil (and reprogramming the 3-cylinder 1.5-liter vehicle, oil pan gasket, and engine control module) and sends it along the way.
Nissan The Rogue is the most affected of the four cars. Of the approximately 500,000 cars that have been recalled, 348,554 are Rogues.
The company will begin notifying dealers on July 15th, and owners who have been asking questions from August 25th can contact Nissan at 800-647-7261.
