No one to release first ear headphones, $299 headphones (1)

A London-based smartphone manufacturer there is nothing First over the ear headphones released Headphones (1). The new device won’t follow the first step into audio hardware with the debut of Ear 2 open-ear headphones last year.

The new headphones (1) headphones are designed in collaboration with British audio brand KEF and feature a sophisticated, transparent design that is unknown. The device itself is a bit bulky, even for headphones that go beyond the ears, but offers a proper adaptive noise cancellation and transparent mode.

This model also offers adaptability-based enhancements that you come across when listening to a variety of musical genres.

Additionally, the headphones provide immersive spatial audio. This creates a 3D listening experience that combines with dynamic head tracking to create a more realistic audio experience.

The highlight is the tactile button. Nothing left the sensor in favor of an AI assistant or a simple button to trigger ChatGPT. There is an empty X app and a volume roller that can be turned off by pressing Play, Pause, On, On noise cancel.

Plus, the roller has a very satisfying click when bent up and down.

The headphones were a little heavy and tended to slip off while wearing them for housework, but otherwise they were completely comfortable with long wear times.

The company claims a long battery life with up to 80 hours of listening, 35 hours when noise cancellation is on, and quick charging times.

Headphones (1) can be pre-ordered in the US, UK and elsewhere for $299 starting July 4, 2025.
