Norfolk’s Shame: Nahill Albright’s one-sided victory over Kelvin Davis leads to a post-war dressing room quarrel with Keyshaun Davis
Nahir Albright (17-2, 7 KOS) took over Norfolk, showing DB3 awful in the domination of Kelvin Davis (15-1, 8 KOs) and beat him with a 10-round majority decision in front of a large crowd on Saturday night.
Albright’s Golden Comeback Win
Fresh from two years of layoffs, Albright looks like pure gold tonight, overtaking Kevin, and basically won every round of battle in the truest sense, but in the eyes of a Virginia judge, he was not fighting.
Score
– 95-95
– 97-93
– 96-94
Albright was astounding two and four times in rounds 2 and 4 from Kelvin’s right and left power shots. Fourth, Kelvin tried to pull back after throwing a shot, and Albright caught him with the left that shook him.
Lamp-like clinches are defined
From rounds 5-10, Kelvin was in survival mode, holding and moving. Whenever Albright approached, he instinctively grabbed him and tried not to throw him. He didn’t let go. Kelvin looked similar Giant sea lampreythe way he becomes obsessed with Albright and doesn’t let go. The judge may have disqualified Kelvin for retention because he had exceeded the excess. I have never seen a fighter hold as much as Davis did tonight without being disqualified. Seventh, Albright was cut from the headbutt in one of Kelvin’s long-term clinches.
Davis had no hand speed, jab, or the power to land any of the matter in Albright. Most of the shots Kelvin throws are avoided by Albright blocking or moving his head.
The fight was so one-sided that it’s hard to see Kelvin Davis come back to be included in the future Top Rank card. Why do they allow him to ride their cards? They need to focus on using only talented fighters on their cards. Kelvin has no future. It’s a waste of time for Top Rank to protect him with careful matchmaking. So they’re already doing it with Keyshawn Davis.
Ambush in Keyshawns locker room
Shameful looking at his brotherKelvin, enrolling in school by A to B to B may have been too much for Keyshawn to take. According to Nahir, he jumped at him in his dressing room after the fight. Albright says that Keeshaun and his brother Keon came to his dressing room and tried to troll him. I can’t say I was surprised.
Keyshaun probably boiled the kettle as Albright fought him in the 2023 battle. Albright made Keyshaun look almost as bad in that fight as he did against Kelvin tonight. However, the judge made the majority decision for Keyshawn 10th round. Fans saw it as a draw. I saw the fight and I was victorious by Albright.
“I was in the locker room and celebrating a victory with the team. Keeshaun and his younger brother (Keong) came in. They said their brother (Kelvin Davis) was mad.” media After the fight, we talk about being jumped to Keon and Keyshawn Davis. “He (Keyshaun) grabbed me and he made me the head.”
Albright says he wants a rematch with Keyshaun. Davis is focused on the money fight, so I seriously doubt it will happen. So he’s about to target “The Big Three,” Teofimo Lopez, Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney.
