Optigroup gets TechnoTape
Optigroup has announced the purchase of TechnoTape, a Dutch distributor of self-adhesive tapes and stretch films designed for B2B clients.
The acquisition is part of the company’s strategy to improve its business portfolio in the “attractive” market sector.
TechnoTape International operates as a wholesaler and offers both unique blanks and customized products.
The company serves a wide range of customers, from large businesses to small local stores.
Once acquired, Technotape will be incorporated into the packaging division of Optigroup in the Netherlands.
The acquired company will continue to operate under the TechnoTape name.
The acquisition is expected to strengthen the company’s service offerings for B2B clients in the manufacturing and DIY industry.
Financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.
This was in June 2025 when Optigroup acquired Creapak Oy, a Finnish packaging distributor specializing in food and construction solutions.
Following the acquisition, Creapak retains its brand identity within the packaging division of Finland’s Optigroup.
