Owners of RV dealers across the country are being sued in Tennessee for the oversized American flags found in several locations in his store.


The CEO of Camping World, a nationwide RV dealer for more than 200 locations, faces a lawsuit by another city over a huge American flag that wavys outside the dealer.

City leaders Greenville, North Carolina. , voted 4-2 last week to launch legal action to defeat the American flag at camp world dealers. The vote came in another lawsuit filed by the city of Sevierville, Tennessee.

“Not when they sue, not when I lose, and when they took me to jail, the flags aren’t coming down,” Camp World CEO Marcus Lemonis said last week that he voted to approve the city council in Greenville, North Carolina to allow civil lawsuits against the company. “I respect the council’s position and understand that they have a right to sue me, but the flag never falls.”

“They need to sue me, not business, because I put flags everywhere,” he added.

Greenville City Council said the flag is roughly the size of a 3,200-square-foot basketball court. Flying on a 130-foot-tall pole, it is almost twice as large as what is currently permitted.

On Monday, Marcus Lemonis posted an image of the complaint filed in March Sevierville city, It had requested that the property be removed from its 100-foot flagpole.
