The young WNBA season has already got off to a rough start. Dallas Wings It will definitely be without their best players.
The team announced it on Friday Page Bookerthe No. 1 overall pick in this year’s draft from UCONN was placed in the concussion protocol.
The move came after a 97-92 defeat to Angel Rees and Chicago skies on Thursday night. It was the first victory of the season.

The team did not provide specific details about what led to the move. It is unclear why Beauker has now entered the protocol. She had 15 points, eight assists and five rebounds in Thursday’s game.
The Bookers will not play at Dallas’ home games against Saturday’s skies or at Seattle against Storm on Tuesday night. She is then reevaluated.
Dallas lost five of their first six games to start the season. The Bueckers averaged 14.7 points, 6.7 team high assists, and 2.0 played the game at 33.9 minutes per game in their professional debut, playing the game the most on the team.
She is ranked 2nd in points and 3rd in rebounds.

The Bueckers were scheduled to be the top pick in this year’s draft. Recording setting carrier at UConneven if the torn ACL costs her in the 2022-23 season.
