Palantir is expanding its reach to the government
“We are working with Accenture Federal Services to accelerate AI across the US government and tackle the highest priority operational challenges of federal agencies,” Palantir posted on X last month.
“What makes this partnership so powerful is Accenture’s expertise in working with the federal government and Palantir’s deep experience in government software to bring commercial capabilities to government solutions. “Together, we will leverage the ever-growing power of AI to help the federal government succeed on its critical mission to provide services that are more powerful data flow, transparency, and resilience to suit fighter jets, citizens and all of its stakeholders.”

Palantir has become a major government contractor in itself, but partnering with the contract giant allows software companies to expand at a much faster rate, allowing these large contractors to take advantage of their long-standing relationships with virtually every federal agency. “We’ve seen a lot of people living in the world,” said Jessica Tilipman, dean of the Department of Government Procurement Law at George Washington University. “If it’s new to a particular area and other areas have that footprint, that’s how it benefits the Palantier.”
Last week, Palantir and Deloitte announced a partnership that includes what is called the “Enterprise Operating System” (EOS) to integrate data between organizations. In government agencies like the Internal Revenue Agency and reportedly, the Social Security Agency (SSA), Palantir has already worked on combining agency datasets, making it easier for different datasets to communicate.
Deloitte US CEO Jason Gilzadas said, “Deloitte shares Palantir’s commitment to decisive action and its commitment to providing meaningful and lasting results to its commercial and government clients. “By expanding the priority relationship at this pivotal moment, clients provide Palantir’s latest advancements in AI, combining Deloitte’s engineering scale with the deep sector experience.”

Before Trump took office, Palantir hit some of these deals. Last December, Booz Allen has partnered with Palantir Specifically, we are helping to build a defense IT infrastructure.
“To monopolize one company and become a gatekeeper of government software, government, in a sense, they are part of all agencies, they are part of the defense complex, they are raising great concerns about intelligence reporting, great concerns about competitive fairness, and put Palantir in a very unique position.”
