Pam Bondi praises Supreme Court deportation ruling on aliens and enemy laws

The decision also added due process protection to detainees. This means they must be given the opportunity to challenge detention via habeas corps.
“From this point on, the (popular corpus) hearing will be held. In Texas, in the court of confinement, it will be a much faster hearing. They cannot file a class action lawsuit. It will be a much smoother, simpler hearing, and these people will be deported,” explained Bondy.

“This is a groundbreaking ruling of the rule of law yesterday and is very important as these flights continue. These terrorists… they are foreign enemies of our country and we will continue to deport them.
