Passengers will be paid $100 in cash for seat exchanges during flight, causing online debate

With plane seat swapping stories spreading throughout social media platforms, one traveler who was victim to the situation was able to make some money from practice.
Passengers on the flight writing for the “R/Delta” forum shared how he or she (whose gender was not specified) were offered $100 to switch to mid-row seats on a flight from Tampa, Florida to New York City.
“So I usually choose aisle seat,” the person wrote. “This guy, who was in two rows in front of me, had a seat in the middle. His girlfriend The middle seat next to me was assigned. He said he tried to get another seat at check-in but couldn’t. ”

The flyer said, “He offered me $100 (all $20 bills) to switch with him. Sit in the middle seat for $100.00, which is usually a 2.5 and a half hour flight – I said I’d take it.”
The person said, “If someone gets cash money, then it depends on it flightI can take it. ”

Another user said, “Airlines rate all seats differently, so there’s no reason why passengers should be different. They’re happy to complete a transaction that benefits both the buyer and seller.”
One lady said, “The same thing happened to me. Some women offered me $100 so that I could sit next to my husband.

Texas-based Gary Leff Travel Industry The author and expert on the blog “View from the Wing” told Fox News Digital that it’s best to provide something and have good reason for the passengers trying to swap seats.
“Don’t try to replace your center seat with the back. “And if you provide the reason you are asking (it doesn’t even have to be a good reason), other flyers are more likely to be obligated.”
