Measuring results

– Tevin Farmer 135 vs Floyd Schofield 134.8
– Jake Paul 199.4 vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. 198.4

Paul’s cherry picking was criticized

I’m not particularly interested in this fight as YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul cherry-pipping another weak opponent. They get caught up in the hustling and realize what his career as a boxer is.

Influencer Paul (11-1, 7 KOs) received much criticism for choosing the 39-year-old WBC middleweight champion Chavez Jr. (54-6-1, 34 KOs).

His career came when he began to decline since 2012 with a defeat to Sergio Martinez. Julio Jr. has since lost five fights and has not been noted for anyone in the last 13 years.

In an example of how much Chavez Jr. has been lost in his game, he was beaten by 46-year-old former UFC champion Anderson Silva in 2021 with an eight-round decision. It was Silva’s third professional fight.

Farmer’s lightweight comeback

The battle that is semi-interested on this card is a lightweight match of the farmer’s manager. Former IBF Super Featherweight Champion Farmer (33-8-1, 8 KOs) has spoken a lot of trash about his undefeated, highly ranked opponent, Scofield (18-0, 12 KOs).

Despite losing his final three fights to compete in Saturday’s contest, Tevin believes this is a sure victory for him. Farmer’s recent losses came against top candidates William Zepeda (x 2) and Raymond Muratara.
