PETA offers vegan hot dogs at Nathan’s contest

Joey Chestnut wasn’t the only celebrity Coney Island For Nathan’s Hot Dog Meal Contest.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) They were made known about their presence outside Coney Island Staples on Friday before Chestnuts took to the stage.

Members of the organization distributed vegan hot dogs to people along the boardwalk, with hundreds of Nathan Franks being prepared for a competitive meal.

Before the event, PETA told Fox News Digital, “Tommy Tofu and his PETA buddies were there right away at Nathan’s famous hot dog meal contest.

“Vegan hot dogs are delicious and kind, and those who really want to support the slaughterhouse – the words are enough – by buying what comes out of them.” “PETA encourages everyone to leave animals in peace after July 4th to ring free.”

Joey Chestnut regains the title of the Hot Dog Meal Contest after defeating 70.5 Frank last year

Chestnut has returned to the competition after losing it last year in partnership with plant-based brand Impossible Foods.

He looked the same as before, knocking down 70.5 dogs and bread in 10 minutes. It was his 17th victory in his last 18 tries (he lost to Matt Stony in 2015), and the seventh time he overturned the 70 Wiener Mark.

The presence of PETA was not compared to the protesters that Chestnut put in the headlock in 2022, but yet another appearance from the animal activist group. Last year, PETA planned “Attacking the competitive audience” I brought a truck to encourage fans to go vegan.
