Potter tells fullkrug to keep the view private after a weekend rant
Niklas Fullkrag’s weekend explosion, accusing his West Ham teammate of accusing his West Ham teammate of lack of motivation, according to boss Graham Potter.
German striker Fulkrag took the front line to the media following Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Southampton, baring his inspiration and told BBC Sports:
“I’m not disappointed. I’m angry at what we did after the goal. It was difficult to get the boys back. We didn’t push them up anymore.
“We tried, but we didn’t have the ability or motivation to push again, and I’m very angry that we played like this.
“We’re s*** and I’m very angry.”

Hammer fans return full claws, but not boss potter
The Fullkrug explosion has been relevant for many Hammer fans who are unhappy with the club being 17th in the Premier League, but Potter doesn’t think he should make his point public.
Prior to Saturday’s previous trip to Club Brighton, Potter said:
“I disagree with him on some things and agree with him on others.
“But he has the right to receive his opinions. As a senior player, we’ve had a lot of honest conversations, and for me it’s better to have conversations privately rather than publicly.
“Then we move forward. What’s that. You need to be honest. You need to be able to say what you think. That’s certainly true. And you have to think about the team as well.”
We are responsible – Potter
Potter says it can be wise to think about the big picture.
He added: “We are responsible for the team and the club, and from my perspective, I can really be honest about what I really feel. But I don’t think it will help the players, I don’t think it will help the club.
“So we all have to recognize our responsibility as well.”
