South Africa’s Minister of Water and Sanitation, Pemmy Majodina wore traditional clothes and spectacular earrings.

Her Xhosa-inspired outfit was created by Zoleka Vicky Magwaca, a self-taught tailor at Mthatha Art Center in the Eastern Cape.

“I’m committed to supporting local designers,” Majodina told Eye’s Witness News on the Red Carpet.
