Prime Day deal: $45 off Anker’s new SoundcoreBoom 3i Bluetooth speaker

Amazon Prime Day Deal: The Anker Soundcore Boom 3i speaker is available for $95 as part of the Amazon Prime Day Sale Event. This is equivalent to 32% off. This model was named “”.The best compact, sturdy Bluetooth speaker that floats,“And now it’s the best price I’ve seen since it was released.

Anker released it five years ago Bluetooth speaker It is called Soundcore Motion Plus It turned out to be popular because it provided surprisingly good sound at its compact size and priced at $100. In some respects, Anker’s New Soundcore Boom 3i He is the spiritual successor to that speaker. It is shaped likewise, but is obliquely slanted with outdoor adventures. Anker calls it “built for the wild” and bills it as the first Bluetooth speaker to play underwater. This is because the speaker driver is “auto-corrected” just above the surface.

I’ve been using the Soundcore Boom 3i for the past few days and have been mostly impressed with it, but the speakers are much easier to recommend to CNET readers with a $45 discount on the Black model. The price will drop to $95. On the other hand, the range for blue, yellow and red models ranges from $40 to $100 Prime Day.

As the speakers seem to show that promotional photos are tied to the kayak (it has a removable carrying strap), the Soundcore Boom 3i is completely waterproof and dust resistant, with an IP68 rating. The Anchor goes a step further and touts the Boom 3i as “5x” saltwater resistant. “Typical speakers can rust in under five months, but the Boom 3i remains corrod-free for up to two years of beach, boat and seaside use.”

Don’t expect Audiophile sound from this similar Mono Bluetooth speaker. But most of the time, the Soundcore Boom 3i offers what you need from a portable Bluetooth speaker from a sound standpoint. This means it will play loudly at that size – weighing about 1.8 pounds, giving out a reasonable amount of bass, along with a measurement of 8.3 x 3.1 x 3.3 inches, and has a pretty respectable clarity. You can find speakers that sound a little more natural, but these types of rugged portable speakers are not designed for critical listening.

I used several rooms outdoors and inside, including the bathroom (which would make a good bathroom speaker) and was able to fill the small room with sound. You can fine-tune the sound with the equalizer settings in the SoundCore companion app iOS and Android And play with the built-in beat cinch red light show settings. You can also pair two of these speakers in stereo mode to get better sound.

I dropped the speaker pool into the pool and tested the speaker playback. It certainly turned over so the speaker driver was facing and the music continued to play, but the audio was a bit typified as a small wave passed over the speaker and the driver began to spit water. In other words, it certainly sounds better to have water than to have water.

One of the problems with Bluetooth devices is that Bluetooth doesn’t send through the water, so you need to load the MP3 into memory when using wireless headphones while swimming (you can’t stream music to the headphones if your head is underwater). I don’t know where the Bluetooth antenna is on this speaker, but it’s probably on the side that stays above the surface when the speaker is floating.

The Soundcore Boom 3i not only floats, but also automatically corrects upright.

In fact, you can activate Buzz Clean Mode from the app that vibrates the speaker and lets it flow dirt and particles like sand after a day on the beach. After you’ve finished cleaning up the buzz, you can wash the speakers off to really clean them.

The speaker also has another interesting feature. Press and hold the “Bus Up” bus boost button for 5 seconds to turn off the 96 decibel emergency alarm. Anker says that the red LED lights are flashing, so you can hear them clearly at up to 100 meters. You can turn off the alarm by pressing any button.

Battery life is rated for 16 hours at medium volume. This is decent for a speaker of this size. It is also worth pointing out that the Boom 3i has a 100-foot Bluetooth range. This is better than the typical 33 feet you get with many Bluetooth speakers.
