Questions about using Biden’s autopen during the release of RobertHur interview audio
GOP House Oversight Committee Chairman and other Republicans have raised concerns about the ex President Joe Biden Cognitive function was sufficient to allow Autoopen tools to help sign on behalf of important documents.
On Friday evening, Axios released exclusive audio footage of Biden’s interview with special advisor Robert Hur. Biden can be heard lurrering his words, muttering, and taking long pauses. Meanwhile, Biden also couldn’t remember the date of his son Beau’s death or the year Trump was first elected.
“That makes me wonder who was actually making the decision.” Rep. James Commer, r-ky. He said on Fox News Channel’s “Hanity” Friday night.
“Obviously from that interview, it was a few months before the intense use of the autopen, so Joe Biden couldn’t make a decision. He was inconsistent.”

Earlier on Friday, Comer announced a new investigation attempting to clarify who issued the order to use Autoopen. Among other important things, Comer said, the Autoopen tool was used to grant presidential pardons to Biden’s family.
“I raise questions about these pardons – using an autopen, and I think it might actually open the door – I’m not a lawyer – but Trump or his administration took Joe Biden, so we’ve got more information now, so now we have more information, so when they’re not cooperating, he couldn’t cooperate, when his son died, when he declared, he couldn’t cooperate.

“Who was controlling the autopen? Who was pulling the string? Who was the unelected bureaucrat making a decision that would have a negative impact on our country?” asked the former. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Advisor Link Lauren. “I want a name.”
