The absence of Shreyanka Patil is nullified by RCB bowling attacks

Patil’s absence leaves a big gap in the RCB’s Volwing lineup. Last season, she won a 13-wicket purple cap with 13 wickets in eight games. Shreyankapatil exchange

To close the gap, the RCB has signed an all-around Sneh Rana as a replacement for Patil’s Rs 300,000. Sold at the 2025 auction, Rana brought two seasons of experience with the Gujarat Giants, where she played 12 games and took a temporary lead in 2023 after the injury to Captain Besmoony. The 30-year-old took part in the RCB preseason camp at Vadodara and merged with the team for the rest of the equipment.

RCB’s decision to employ RANA reflects her utility as a spin bowling all-around that can contribute to both the bat and the ball. Her inclusion adds depth to the team tackling multiple injuries concerns, but replacing Patil’s ability to acquire wickets remains a horrifying challenge.
