“Both me and the Task Force were given or reviewed the Epstein Documents released today. The story of the New York post revealed that the document is simply an Epstein phone book,” Luna wrote in an X post on Thursday.

After not responding for about two days, Luna said she faced silence from the DOJ.

“On February 11th and February 19th, House surveillance sent letters to DOJ asking for status on releases such as Epstein files and JFK,” Luna wrote Monday in an X post.

Two days later she asked Back from DOJthanking her two letters requesting briefings and two letters requesting documents of departmental property related to the classified investigation.

DOJ also granted Luna’s request for written confirmation of the date and location of the release of these records.

“The department remains committed to meeting its legal recordkeeping obligations in pursuing its mission,” the DOJ wrote. “We are reviewing your requests and looking forward to being more involved in meeting your surveillance and legislative needs.”

On the same day, Attorney General Pam Bondy announced on “Jesse Watters Primetime” that the Epstein document would be released on Thursday.

However, after failing to release a pile of published documents, Bondy wrote to FBI director Kash Patel, accusing federal agents in New York of withholding thousands of pages of Epstein documents she had previously vowed to make public.

Bondi said Patel was confirmed as the FBI head and requested the entire Epstein case file before receiving the file of about 200 pages.

Bondi said FBI She never revealed the existence of thousands of pages of documents relating to Epstein’s investigation and indictment, and she requested that it be handed over by Friday morning.

“By 8am tomorrow, by February 28th, the FBI will deliver a complete and complete Epstein file to my office, including all records, documents, audio and video recordings, as well as all records, documents, audio and video recordings and materials relating to Jeffrey Epstein and his clients,” writes Bondi. “There are no withholding or restrictions on me or your access.”

Luna did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
