Rep. Massey says he feels “misunderstood” by Trump after Iran attacks

Exclusive: Rep. Thomas Massey blames the president Donald Trump He has not reached his campaign pledge on Saturday night strike in Iran.

“I feel a bit misunderstood,” Massey told Fox News Digital in an interview Sunday afternoon. “I didn’t think he would decide on his foreign policy on neocons and drag us into another war.”

A conservative libertarian who has long been wary of foreign interventions by the US, Massey was one of the most vocal critics of the Trump administration’s recent operations.

“People were saying, ‘Why did you introduce this resolution? The president has no intention of attacking Iran.’ He attacked Iran.
