Rep. Pfluger reunited with his daughter after the flood disaster at Texas Camp

Republican lawmakers said he was reunited with his two daughters. Fatal flood We wiped out central Texas over the weekend.

R-Texas MP August Pfluger said his two daughters had evacuated from Camp Mystic, a camp along the banks of the Guadalupe River. Hunt, Texas.

“Camille, Vivienne, I am currently reuniting with Caroline and Juliana, who have been evacuated from Camp Mystic,” Pfluger said of his family. “The final day brings unimaginable sadness to many families, and we are grieving with them and suppressing hope for survivors.”

As of Sunday morning, five young girls who were staying at Camp Mystic have been confirmed to be dead. Carr County officials confirmed that the 27 campers still remained missing about 36 hours after the flood. There were 750 participants when the water wall hit the camp.

“The camp has been completely destroyed,” 13-year-old Elinor Leicester, one of hundreds of campers, told The Associated Press. “The helicopters landed and started taking people away. It was really scary.”

In another post, Pfluger praised the heroism of camp counselors and others who acted to save lives during the height of the flood.

“There are countless heroes who acted bravely during this tragic situation – sacrificed for others – thank you… And for most of you, we will never know the story and even understand what you did! The lawmaker wrote.

Pfluger said Dick Eastland, co-owner of Camp Mystic, sacrificed his life to save the girl attending the camp.

“Camp Mystic’s penis Eastland definitely gave his life a try to save the camper.” Pfluger wrote in his third post.. “For decades, he and his wife tweets have poured his life into loving girls and women of character. Thank you Mr. Eastland. We love you and we will miss you.”

At least 59 people have died in floods in Kerr County, including 21 children. Officials have confirmed that at least eight people have been killed in at least a nearby county.

Pfluger has asked the public to “pray for a miracle” as the crew continues to search for flood survivors, including 11 young girls and one counselor who has disappeared from Camp Mystic.
