GOP Whip and Minnesota Rep. Tom Emmer Waltz wanted “luck” before the former vice presidential candidate testified alongside Illinois governor and New York governor Kathy Hochul at the House Oversight Committee on Thursday.
“From throwing outrageous humiliation against ice agents to providing numerous taxpayer-funded benefits to illegal Minnesota aliens, Tim Waltz’s immigration agenda is easy to summarise.
“If you think Tim Waltz can defend his terrible record before Congress, he has more paths than I thought. There’s only one thing I can say to Timmy heading to Washington this week: Good luck.”

Emmer paired his comments with Fox News Digital New Video It denies Waltz’s various immigration policies, titled “Protecting illegals, not Minnesotan: That’s how the waltz works.”

The term “sanctuary city” is not legally defined, but illegal immigrants flock to Democratic-led areas primarily to reduce the likelihood of deportation. Sanctuary cities often reject Immigration and customs enforcement (ICE) rejects requests for information such as arrests and releases, and the ice detainee’s request to retain illegal immigrants who have been imprisoned beyond the date of release.

“Governors of these states must explain why they prioritize protecting illegal aliens for the safety of American citizens,” said James Comer, House Observation Committee Chairman, in media advice at upcoming hearings.
“The Sanctuary Policy provides sanctuary only to illegal foreigners of crime,” Kommer explained. “Former President Biden has created the worst border crisis in US history and allowed illegal criminal foreigners to flood our communities.”

“The Trump administration is taking critical action to deport foreigners from our country for crime violations, but reckless sanctuaries like Illinois, Minnesota and New York are actively urging them to block federal immigration enforcement.”
