Rory McIlroy may have some serious driver troubles next week We are open.

The 2025 Masters winner missed a cut with 12 strokes at the RBC Canada Open and shot an 8-over 78 on Friday. PGA Tour Events for his career.

But McIlroy’s accuracy needs to be far better than ever, as Oakmont Country Club’s Rough has the ability to swallow golf balls at the US Open next week and ruin the round. He ranked 170th in driving accuracy, reaching the fairway time of 51.13%.

With at least cuts from this week’s tournament, McIlroy will have more days to get a grasp of the drivers before teeing up at the US Open on Thursday.
