Secretary of State Marco Rubio and CBS host Margaret Brennan have kept a close eye on whether the US Intelligence Agency has discovered that Iran has ordered the development of nuclear weapons.

Brennan asked Rubio if the United States saw Aniam’s intelligence on Sunday that “the Supreme Leader ordered weaponization.” Rubio, a national security adviser, repelled the CBS host by saying it wasn’t important whether Iran’s top leader ordered weapons or not, and that the administration was already pursuing nuclear weapons.

“It’s irrelevant. I see that question being asked in the media all the time. It’s an irrelevant question. They have everything they need to build a weapon,” Rubio said.

The CBS host retorted that whether weaponization has been ordered was a “significant point” of the US intelligence report assessment. Rubio denied that it was true and claimed that he knew of a “better” subject than Brennan.

Why do you bury things in a 300-foot mountain under the ground? Why do they have 60% enriched uranium? No 60% uranium enriched uranium is required. The only countries with 60% of uranium in the world are those with nuclear weapons. Because it can be quickly turned to 90. They have all the elements. Why do they have a space program? Is Iran going to go to the moon? no. They are trying to build an ICBM, so one day they can put their warheads on it,” Rubio replied.

Brennan quoted Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard They marched parliamentary testimony that Iran did not order the construction of nuclear weapons. The “Face the Nation” host asked Rubio if the US intelligence news community has learned something new since Gabbard’s testimony. Rubio accused Brennan of not giving accurate evaluations.

Rubio went on to say that the International Atomic Energy Agency recently discovered that Iran is not complying with its nuclear non-proliferation obligation. IAEA Report It turns out that Iran cannot explain how traces of uranium were found at undeclared nuclear sites.

“The board has found many Iran’s failures to maintain its obligation to provide agencies with full and timely cooperation on undeclared nuclear material and activities in multiple undeclared locations…constitutive of its obligations under a protection agreement with the agency,” the report said.
