Griffin later claimed that his statement was “purely based on basketball,” and that it was simply a “sports take.”

Ryan Clark, a current ESPN NFL analyst and former Pittsburgh Steelers star, responded to Griffin’s comments on the Lee Clark drama. Clark suggested that Griffin was on the “Train of Hate” and fell in line with the positions taken by other media.

“When the RG3 jumps on a train of hate or angry, it follows what it looks like from Keith Orberman from Dave Portnoy. Clark said On a recent episode of his “The Pivot” podcast.

“One thing we know about RG3 is that he hasn’t had a conversation at his home about what black women have to endure in this country. About how young black women and athletes like Angel Reese had to deal with Kate Linklark’s rising and being on the other side of the ascension to stardom.”

Clark then highlighted the former NFL Quarterback marriage.

“If you were an RG3, when was your last time in your home (which Angel Reese handled)?” Clark asked. “You were both in your marriage and you were married to a white woman, so you couldn’t do that.”

Griffin is from Estonia and is married to seven gretes.

“You didn’t have the opportunity to have a conversation to educate you about what they feel, what black women are dealing with, what they see when thinking about the young angel lease.

Griffin left ESPN in 2024. He reported that Griffin’s firing was a cost-cutting move.

“When I worked at RG3, he was making this kind of joke about milk and how much he loves him and how important it was. And he always points out his wife’s white skin tone on social media, as if her skin tone was something special to her.

“I met a woman. I had a conversation with her. I think she’s more than that. But that also leads to something that deals with a lot from black men who have either chosen to date or marry or choose to marry outside of their race. They always feel they have to support women who support women they’ve married and women who are with black women.”

Griffin caught Wind in Clark’s comments and took him to social media to share his reaction.

“It’s coronavirus that Ryan Clark is attacking me and my family personally with sports opinions, and is spineless and weak,” Griffin said. I wrote it on xwith a video longer than 2 minutes. Griffin also said several times that Clark’s claims were “out of scope.”

Kate Rinklerk and Reese have a huge history, dating back to the 2023 NCAA Women’s Basketball National Championship. Both players downplayed the incident.

Clark told ESPN’s Holly Lowe after the third quarter that there was “no malicious” behind the foul.
