Ryan Garcia’s comeback after surgery: Kingley shows off his hand speed in his bag job
Ryan Garcia posted a video clip showing him hitting his bag, showing him the speed of his hand following his recovery from a recent surgery. He says he hopes for a rematch with Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero after losing his decision against him in a one-sided fight on May 2nd.
Ryan should be in adjustments to prepare for a rematch with Rory or to face others in the welterweight top tier. It sounds stupid to go straight into a second fight.
Garcia’s “no hand” claim
Fans are skeptical of Garcia’s chances of revenging his loss to Romero, and consider his excuse for defeat pathetic. Ryan blames the defeat with his injured hand, and he “We basically fight without hands.” And that’s why he “barely threw a punch.”
It would have been better if Garcia kept shutting his mouth, accepted his loss and given Rory’s credit. His injuries made him look weak, as if he was trying to whitewash his losses.
I believe Kingley is with him now. “health,” He can beat WBA welterweight champion Romero (17-2, 13 KOs) in the rematch. Garcia says he has a “plan” for a rematch, which “runned him with it and sank him into deep waters.” Ryan never pushed that action after being dropped by Rory in Round 2. The fight took place in the same way as their sparring session a few years ago. Romero Bum-Rushing Cowering Garcia and punch him.
Ryan said Rory “doesn’t put pressure on him and punches really don’t work” and “I don’t like fighting inside.” He uses Romero’s battle with Isaac’s “Pit Bull” cruise as an example of inability to fight inside. 5’4” Cruz had Rolly inside and slammed him with a hook on the head halfway through to get his eighth knockout.
Kingley’s Wealth, Commitment
Garcia hopes to return to the ring in December. Fans have doubts. Ryan has quickly raised $50 million in wealth over the past two years since 2023. Some feel that they lack a commitment to returning to the punishing grind of being a world-class fighter.
As for the rematch with Rolly, it is unclear whether Ryan will be able to compete that this year. Manny Pacquiao, 46, is interested in fighting Romero for his WBA title and appears eager to fight him.
