Salesforce plans to $500 million in AI-related investments in Saudi Arabia

(Reuters) – Cloud software seller Salesforce said Monday it plans to invest $500 million in Saudi Arabia, related to artificial intelligence.

As part of the investment, Salesforce will introduce Hyperforce, a platform architecture offered through a strategic partnership with Amazon Web Services in the country.

In particular, new investments in AI have been announced as President Donald Trump revoked his predecessor’s 2023 executive order, as his enthusiasm to strongly regulate early technology declined.

Salesforce will partner with Capgemini, Deloitte, Globalant, IBM and PWC to expand its use of AgentForce, a product aimed at customer service agents. It also provides support in Arabic for AI-related product suites.

The company made an announcement on Thursday at Leap 2025, Saudi Arabia’s global technology event.

Earlier this month, Salesforce said it plans to expand its regional headquarters and 30,000 Saudi citizens to Riyadh by 2030.
