Sam Norke faces an uphill battle with undefeated power puncher Abdullah Mason for the WBO lightweight championship
Sam Noakes promoter Frank Warren hopes to launch a lightweight conflict with British Abdullah Mason and give Noakes a home advantage in the fight for the vacant WBO 135 pound title.
Noaki (17-0, 15 KOs) is a fight that requires all the benefits he can gain to win, as he is fighting talent like Mason (19-0, 17 Kos).
“It’s a great battle. It’s a really competitive battle and it was ordered, so that’s what’s going to happen,” Frank Warren said. Box Nation For Abdullah Mason vs. Sam Noakes, they collide due to the free WBO lightweight title.
The Norkeths were coordinated for him to dismantle, so we were able to see Abdullah Mason’s erupted victory in this battle. Get Noki if you’re factory creating fighters in Frankenstein for Mason to knock out, especially for Mason to knock out. He is a basic cam forward type fighter who blocks punches with his face.
“So many,” Warren said when asked that he had decided to bring the Mason vs. Noakes fight to Britain. “Sometimes you want to get a home advantage. We see. The most important thing is he got his opportunity. The most important thing for him is to get out there and win it. Sam is incredibly talented.”
Since becoming a pro in 2019, we don’t know how talented Noaki is, due to the opposition in the middle of the journey since he became a pro. Ryan Walsh And 40 years old Ivan Mendy. What do you say when these are his best victories on his resume? Why wasn’t Noaki stepped up the other day?
“It wouldn’t surprise me that he wins the world title. I think he’s extremely capable. He can fight tomorrow. Alan has him in the gym,” Warren said.
The best chance for a Norkes victory is to reach Mason’s vulnerable chin and smack him early. If you go beyond the 4th round, your chances for Noakes will steadily decline. It would be difficult for anyone to take big power shots of Mason over five rounds, but even more so for the fighter who has struggled at the domestic level of the UK throughout his professional career.
“Fight. It’s going to bid on the wallet or we’ll make a deal, but Sam has a chance. He’s a good fighter. A good Sam Norke is just a handful of people,” Warren said. “He has incredible work rates. He’s all over you, and that’s what he has to do in this fight.
Abdullah is a big puncher and could work against Noakes if he tries to overwhelm him with volume. It would leave him open for a big shot of Mason. Noki is a good fighter, but can he withstand Mason’s power for the 12th round? I doubt that.
“A fighter who doesn’t gain much weight is clearly wrong. It’s not professional at all,” Warren said Keyshawn Davis lost 4.3 pounds and was stripped of his WBO 135 pound title.
Keyshaun mentioned that he had already planned to rise to 140 before his cancelled fight with Edwin de los Santos after he missed the weight. So this would be his final fight at 135 anyway and he was planning to drop the WBO lightweight belt.
So when you heard it, it’s obvious that he didn’t care if he lost the title on the scale. He just wanted to make sure he won. Having a weight advantage over the Big Puncher Delos Santos helped. What Davis didn’t consider was that Edwin’s promoter chose not to go through the fight.
