Sarena Jeet reveals an untold story of Trump’s assassination attempt at Butler Rally

Almost a year after the attempted assassination of journalist and author Donald Trump Sarena Jeet She talks about what she witnessed and her personal conversation with Trump in the following times.

When Jeet was in Butler, Pennsylvania last July 13th, a shootout rang out at a Trump campaign rally. She was scheduled to interview the president when he was fired by 20-year-old gunman Thomas Crooks.

Her new book, “Butler: Nearly Assassination of Donald Trump and the Battle of America’s Heartland,” untold stories; Zito shares her direct account On a historic day.
“I heard everything,” she said of the confused moment after the shot. “Includes his claim to put on his shoes,” she described it as a “comic relief” in the tense aftermath.
According to Zito, Trump called her the next day to check on her and her family.
“He’s going to keep calling me, that was a total of seven times that day,” she told Kilmeade. “We had some strong conversations.”
She said the president continues to ask questions about the day. Why he decided to turn his head or face the charts on stage, is a move that may have saved him from a much worse injury.
“He (Trump) has concluded several times that it was God’s hand,” Jeet said.
“He was spared because he was given a higher purpose than becoming a presidential candidate,” she said of the emotional experience. “To become the best he can probably be the best he can be for the country. ”
In the moment just after the attack, Jeet said Trump refused to rush off the stage and that she chose to ask him about the decision.

“He told Zito: “I wasn’t Donald Trump at that moment. I represented the US presidency.” Trump went on to say he felt it needed to represent America’s “grit” and “exceptionalism” and prevent potential panic in the crowd.
Zito told her, “We needed people to know what we were continuing to do.
