Senate major budget Republicans flock with Trump in the White House for a settlement
President Donald Trump, Senate majority leader John Tune, Rs.D. , and Republicans on the Senate Budget Committee meet at the White House Wednesday morning to discuss how to extend the 2017 tax cuts and the key budgetary processes for Trump’s agenda to rebalance.

Wednesday’s White House meeting is intended to be a final check-in to ensure that all involved are on the same page, rather than a discussion about how it will proceed.

With Trump Senate Republican The discussion is the latest of several meetings in both the House and Senate, slamming details on how to manipulate budget adjustment bills that lead to the home through the upper chamber. Treasury Secretary Scott Bescent left at least one of the legislative meetings on Wednesday, and was Capitol Hill’s equipment during settlement debates.
Initially, there was a severe disagreement between the House GOP leader and the Senate over how to organize a settlement bill, an important tool for the Trump administration and the Republican majority.

Senate Republicans largely preferred to split the Trump administration’s priorities into two settlement bills. The first bill addresses the urgent needs of the tropical border, and subsequent bills extend the tax cuts at Trump Hallmark 2017.
But House Republicans with little space to challenge slim majority and House Republicans have made it clear they will only accept settlement bills that include border funding and tax cut extensions.
The House and Senate both passed separate resolutions, but Trump has expressed his support for one bill on multiple occasions, with Senate Republicans themselves describing their resolution as a backup plan to the House.

The Senate is currently being charged with taking up House bills that include borders and tax cuts to complete Trump’s budget adjustment process.
Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) told Fox News he plans to raise debt restrictions at his morning meeting at 11am. In particular, he would like to discuss the increase in debt restrictions in budget settlement resolutions.

According to Republicans, Trump has not communicated much with Republicans about his position on inclusion of debt restrictions on this particular bill.

But Kennedy believes that debt restrictions should be raised through settlements to ensure Republicans do not have to negotiate with Democrats to avoid default.
