If he transferred, O’Neill ended his career at Tallahassee and began 17 of his 29 games.

This is not the first time O’Neill has switched schools in his college basketball career. He transferred to Florida A&M after two years of stints in South Texas.

O’Neal appeared in two games in 41 games during his time with the Tigers. He was listed as a three-star high school recruit, according to his bio. Florida A&M’s Athletics website.

Basketball is deep in the O’Neill family.

Shaq won 4 NBA Championship And he was a 15 All-Star during his renowned career. His other son, Shaereef, played for UCLA and LSU before his stint in the NBA G League.

In 2023, Shaq’s youngest child, Me’arah O’Neal, signed her national intent Florida Gators. She made her debut for Florida in the 2024-25 season, scoring a career-high 19 points in a game against Arkansas in February.
