“I don’t think that’s my place to give my answer, I give it the answer to that,” Sanders said at the camp on Friday via ESPN. “I feel it’s not in my control. So I’m not going to think about it or think about why it is. There are a lot of people who want to have the opportunity to be at this level. I’m here. And I have the opportunity.
“I don’t feel sick or get ruled out because I know who I am as a person,” he added. “I know who I am as an individual and what can bring to this team. So I can’t feel less than any situation.”

Sanders was once considered a top five selection, but he was an unprecedented drop in the draft. The Browns took Gabriel in the third round.
However, Sanders is still in a positive position.
“That really doesn’t bother me,” Sanders said. “We’ve come all the way from the HBCU to the Power 5. And now we’re here. So, at this point, if you look, there’s nothing to be a challenge.”

The Browns’ first preseason game will be on August 8th against the Carolina Panthers. All four Browns quarterbacks are doing the work, but Desshaun Watson is rehabilitating from Achilles, who was torn apart twice.
