Softbank is reportedly about to launch a trillion dollar AI and Robotics Industrial Complex

SoftBank is all about AI.

Just a few months after announcing his involvement $500 Billion Stargate AI Infrastructure ProjectWhich is Softbank? It’s rumoured to be a cool $19 billionthe Japanese investment conglomerate is reportedly still about to launch its biggest AI project.

The company is working with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) to launch a Trillion Dollar Industrial Facility in Arizona to build AI and robotics. Report from Bloombergcites sources that are familiar with the project.

The initiative, called Project Crystal Land, appears to be still in its very early stages. According to Bloomberg, what the role of TSMC is or whether they are interested in joining forces with SoftBank is completely unclear despite SoftBank’s desire to work with TSMC on the project. TSMC is already running its own AI infrastructure project in Arizona.

SoftBank declined to comment.
