“Tres Leches” is translated from Spanish to “3 milk.” As we said, it’s a rather cheeky message from Cunningham.
But in the athlete’s spirit of showing off her support and bond with her teammates, Cunningham leaves no reason to doubt how much she loves women on and off the court and in the locker room.
She’d been doing it recently in her words. She spoke to reporters in a fiery way last Tuesday about the need to physically protect Clark against Sunplayer. She called out the WNBA and its judges to “not protect” Clark.
She gets caught up in a physical argument with Jacee Sheldon after the latter plunged into Clark’s eye. WNBA Hardwood Rookie of the Year.
Cunningham, Sheldon and Sunguard Lindsay Allen were kicked out of the game with about 40 seconds left after Cunningham vigorously tainted Sheldon under the basket with a fast break.
“In the meantime, it was part of the game,” Cunningham told reporters. “I think refs had a lot to do with it. It was now accumulating for years that didn’t protect the WNBA star players. At the end of the day, I’m going to protect my teammates. That’s what I’m doing.”

Last season, Clark had broken rookie and league records, but there was a lot of debate about whether the league is protecting her on the court as the team could disrupt her game.
Since Cunningham joined the fever this season, she has even been on the sidelines, even when either Clark or her teammates are in the midst of a turmoil. Plus, when she checks in to the game, Cunningham will certainly step out among those messing around with her teammates, as is clear in the incident with Clark.
As a result of becoming a great teammate in one of the league’s faces, Cunningham’s popularity has skyrocketed, and it continues on her social media. She had less than 400,000 followers on Tiktok before The Sun’s match against last Tuesday’s match. She currently has 1.3 million people and relies on her platform.
On Instagram, that number is over 300,000, and is now over 839,000.

If Cunningham hadn’t yet shown herself as a fever “executor,” she is qualified to back it up, as she is a black belt in Taekwondo.
However, Cunningham and Heat want to win the game and make physical statements when necessary. They dropped back-to-back games on Sunday after nine points, six rebounds and one assist lost to an ace in 24 minutes.
