Sofia Carson has established herself as one of Netflix’s most trusted stars, and this week her latest film is Streaming: My Oxford year. It may be just a summer romance with Carson and Corey Mylchreest, but it’s just one of a few great titles that arrived this week.
If you’re in the mood for the film, you can catch the original and sequel as the final destination pedigree arrives at HBO Max and Adam Sandler’s 1996 classic Happy Gilmore Drop. This is currently available on Netflixat once.
If you prefer a new show to entertain, Peacock has a new season of twisted metal in action comedy, and on Netflix, some of the most infamous reality TV data reps in recent years are gathering for a new season of the perfect match.

Netflix
Sofia Carson and Corey Milkleast were stars in my Oxford year, and a new Netflix romance based on the novel by Julia Whelan. Carson stars as Anna, an ambitious American student who is enrolled in the one-year poetry program at Oxford University. Anna has made a tough plan for herself, starting with her research in Oxford, but when she meets a charming man named Jamie (Myl Chreest), it all goes off track. The film arrives on August 1st.
Perfect match, Season 3 (August 1)
Perfect Match is like an all-star edition of all date shows on Netflix. The show, heading for its third season, features a cast member that is favourite to fans of the show, like Love IS Blind, a hot and seducing island. This season, the show also welcomes talent from non-Netflix shows. The Bachelorand Love Island USA contestants are looking forward to it. The first six episodes of this season arrive on August 1st. Three more will arrive on August 8th, with the season finale airing on August 15th.
Conversation with the Murderer: Samthep’s Son (July 30)
Conversations with the Netflix killer series use rare interviews with infamous killers such as Ted Bundy and Jeff Leadermer to provide extraordinary insight into the minds of these cold-blooded killers. The new season of the show addresses David Berkowitz, better known as the son of Sam, who terrorized New York City in the summer of 1977. Berkowitz killed his victim with his .44 caliber gun and anonymously provoked him in a letter he signed to “Sam’s Son.” The new series features an audio interview with Berkowitz, who spoke with reporter Jack Jones while in prison in 1980, as well as in-person interviews with law enforcement, journalists and survivors of his attack.

Twist Metal, Season 2 (July 31st)
Twisted Metal, an action comedy series based on a video game of the same name, is back for this week’s second season. This season, John Daw (Anthony Mackey) and Quiet (Stefannie Beatrice) enter the fatal demolition derby known as Twist Metal, hosted by Calypso, which Anthony Carrigan performed this season. But while not John’s only drama, his estranged sister Dollface (Tianana Okoi) also finds a way to return to his life. Twisted Metal returned on Thursday, July 31st with three new episodes. New episodes arrive every Thursday, August 28th.

Final Destination Bloodline (August 1)
Zach Lipovsky and director Adam Stein, the final destination pedigree that arrived at HBO Max this week, will star as Stefani Reyes as Caitlyn Santa Juana, a woman whose grandparents realize that she and her family never existed because their grandparents deceived their deaths. As a result, Welp, Death is knocking on her door. Co-stars of Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner and Brec Bassinger, the film marks the final appearance from actor Tony Todd, who passed away shortly after filming.
Apple TV Plus
Jason Momoa leads the cast of Apple TV Plus’ new series Chief of War. Starring primarily a Polynesian cast, the series tells the story of Hawaii’s colonization in terms of the indigenous people who lived there at the time. Momoa depicts Kaiana, a warrior who attempted to unify the island in the second half of the 18th century. The first two episodes of the debut of the nine-episode series on Friday, August 1st. New episodes arrive every Friday until September 19th.
