Here’s a phrase I’ve been listening to recently: Win.

It can be applied to anyone – Donald TrumpChuck Schumer, AOC – insists on notching victory and asking for more demands, but that may be unrealistic.

This is a reminiscent of an extraordinary essay by Andrew Sullivan of the New York Times.

Gay journalists say the LGBTQ movement has become “insanity” from civil rights success

The first gay marriage claim was Sullivan, a gay and British conservative Catholic who runs the New Republic.

“As gays are more openly accepting their love, more and more people are embracing each other in the perfect view of their family and friends.

The cover story was highly unpopular and considered to be extremists. Despite his optimism, many gays remained closed, including the media, for fear of their influence.

Gay before in the military Bill Clintonwas discharged or subject to court. Sullivan’s dream was considered a distant fantasy.

Christian conservative Gary Bauer said, “This is the most loopy idea ever to get off the Pike. Why are we discussing it?”

In the spring of 1996, Andrew came to me and asked me to break the story. He had AIDSand in part, that is why he had resigned as editor of the new Republic. He said he knew he had been ill for three years but was healthy.

“It’s lifting a terrible burden,” he told me. “It’s difficult enough to fight illness, but when there’s a secret about it, you have no choice but to capitalize on the shame and guilt that destroys you.”

It was in 2015 that the Supreme Court made same-sex marriage a law on land after 37 states had already acted (and was overturned to some extent). And when the straight couple realized their marriage was not affected, it gradually faded as a hot political issue.

Polls show that seven in 10 Americans support gay marriages. Gays are now openly serving in cabinet and state homes.

“As civil rights victory progresses,” Sullivan is still generally healthy, I write about the times“It will never be more definitive or inclusive.”

The problem is that it will win a lot of media plays as it is the 10th anniversary of Scotts’ verdict.

But now it’s going too far.

Rather than proclaiming victory and closing the shop, the movement has rushed in a dangerous new direction.

Sullivan says he has always supported civil rights for transgender people. And I feel the same way.

However, gay rights groups have poured money into replacing the distinction between men and women with “gender identities.” It meant a surgical embrace that changed the gender of minors. This is an issue that approximately 80% of the country opposes.

In addition to their obsession with pronouns, the movement also supported trans women’s competition in female sports.

According to Sullivan, the new mantra is “Trans women are women. Trans men are men.” President Trump ordered members of the trans army to activate from services.

Sullivan, who is not a fan of the president, says some activists are reflexively opposed to anything Trump supports.

“Gender ideological objections are routinely shunned and embarrassing.

“Please exclude the kids. Those overflowing there were very well aware that it could cause the oldest honorary damage to us.

This is the opinion of one man. Sullivan allows him to become “just another old fart.”

As if to underscore his claims about intolerance, the Reddit poster calls the film “Incoherent Mishmash,” and says Sullivan “denounces trans and LGBTQ+ activists for conservative attacks on the trans community.” This comes from “an aged gay man whose brain is immersed in prejudice and fear.”

Many may oppose Andrew Sullivan’s analysis. Republican support For same-sex unions, this is below 50%. But I think he earned the right to be heard as the first man to crusade for a gay marriage 36 years ago and openly discuss his battle with HIV.
