Jimenez appeared alongside fellow romance writer Hannah Bonham Yong and promoted her latest novel, “Just for the Summer.”
When the emergency crew responded, firefighters entered the venue and the room erupted in cheers.

Bonam-Young made the most of the moment and jokingly asked the firefighter, “Are you all single?” She later shared the footage on Tiktok, which quickly became word of mouth.
“They were not actually paid actors,” Jimenez revealed in a post on the same Instagram. “But it was beyond surprising, so we would have paid for them.”

Reports say the fire is a false alarm, not a real emergency, but a complete plot twist. But that didn’t stop fans from portraying obvious similarities with the romantic comedy ratios they came to celebrate.
The moment lit up social media, with participants posting clips of the crowd cheering and laughing. Some felt that it was a scene that was quickly lifted from one of Zimenez’s novels.
