However, some people came quickly to the defense of Brand and Sweeney.

“It won’t hurt anyone. That’s the point. It’s literally an ad for jeans. It’s not because of Nazism,” one person wrote.

“You don’t know why people don’t like this? It’s cute and clever,” another added.

“What’s wrong with the comments here? There are so many sad and jealous people…” another person wrote.

“She is a beautiful girl and she has a great gene to thank her ancestors. Where is racism here? Just a statement of fact,” another comment read.

“The awakened ad is dead. Sydney Sweeney killed it,” said one user I wrote it on x.
