Ted Lasso begins filming season 4 in Kansas City. This is what we know so far
Queue the biscuits and believe in the sign: Ted Lasso I’m back on the pitch Apple TV Plus It was confirmed Monday that production for the fourth season of the Emmy Award-winning comedy has begun. Filmed in Kansas City, Missouri (Jason Sudeikis’ hometown), additional scenes are planned for London.
Season 4 Streaming The series will find Ted tackling a whole new challenge as he is working on coaching the women’s football team in the second division. According to Apple’s logline, you can expect a lot of faith and signature PEP stories as Ted and his players navigate the unfamiliar lawns.
Most of our beloved cast members, including Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, and Jeremy Swift, will return to the next chapter. A handful of newcomers will also be joining the team: Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mac, Faye Marsai, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abby Hell and Grant Ferry.

Behind the scenes, Ted Lasso brings Emmy-winning Jack Burgitt (Modern Family, 30 Rock) as executive producer under a new gross deal with Apple. Sudeikis, Brendan Hunt, Brett Goldstein and Bill Lawrence will return as executive producers along with series veterinarians Joe Kelly and Jane Becker.
The soothing comedy has been Apple TV Plus’s cultural juggernaut since its premiere in 2020, winning back-to-back standout comedy series Emmys over the first two seasons, pioneering Apple’s original streaming slate along with titles like Coda.
There is no release date set for Season 4.
