During a press conference on Sunday, authorities said they experienced “unknown issues” shortly after takeoff, where the plane “had an impact on trees and terrain.”

Three were taken via helicopter to a local hospital for treatment, and one victim was sent by ground transport due to more serious injuries, Russell said. Other minor injuries were treated by first responders at the scene.

There have been no reported deaths at this time.
