Tesla Diner opens in Los Angeles 24/7 with recharge and meals

Tesla Diner in Los Angeles welcomes guests looking to recharge their stomachs and electric vehicles (EVs) 24/7.
On Tuesday morning, Tesla CEO Elon Musk shared three posts to X about the diner he described as “retrofitistic.” It officially opened in Hollywood on Monday.
“Only Tesla takes photos of the toilet before you use it,” the retweeted post by Musk said.
The two-storey venue at Santa Monica Boulevard features two 66 feet tall LED “Megascreens.” Diner’s website.

“Our Skypad or view from you Tesla car “Cabins using the Tesla Diner app” and the website advises Tesla drivers can use the car’s touchscreen to see what is playing and what is displayed on the diner’s screen.

The diner has “special products” such as over 250 dining seats, 80 supercharged stalls, “supercharged gummies” and Teslabot action figures.
On the first floor, visitors can enjoy the kitchen, bar and dining area. The second story currently has bar and table seating, but theater-style seats may be under work, local Fox11 reports.

Those looking to multitask while charging may order from the menu. It serves classics from Tesla such as breakfast tacos, biscuits, red gravy and Tesla burgers.
“Tesla Diner parking is only available for EV charging.” According to the Diner Support website, Visitors do not need to be Tesla owners to visit. Guests must “actively recharge or eat” to see the screen.

Musk He posted about his dinner at the diner on July 14th, calling it “one of the coolest spots in LA!”
Currently, alcohol is not offered at Tesla Diner and cash is not accepted, the website said.

According to the report, construction of the project began in the fall of 2023.
