Texas school officials announced Reese Zanker, teachers and high schools on Sunday soccer Coach and his wife, Paula, were found dead following the devastating flooding that swept Kerr County, Texas on Friday.
The Kerrville Independent School District has issued a statement confirming the death of the boy’s soccer coach at Tibby High School and his wife. He was previously a teacher of Tibby.

The family was on vacation at a river home in Hunt, near Camp Mystic.
The Tivy Boy’s Soccer team also issued a statement reminding them of Zunker.
“Coach Reese Zanker wasn’t just the soccer coach, who he was a mentor, teacher and role model for our Kerrville children,” the Facebook post read. “He rebuilt his football program and left behind a legacy. His passion for his players, students, colleagues, community and his family will never be forgotten.”

Carr County officials said more than 12 campers had been confirmed dead as of Sunday afternoon. One counselor and 11 campers remained immeasurable while the death toll in central Texas rose to nearly 70 on Sunday.
