The former Ohio State star has a two-word response to Jim Tressel being nominated as Ohio State Lieutenant Governor

Prior passed 2,772 yards and 27 touchdowns in his final season with the Buckeyes in 2010. It proved to be Tressel’s final season with the Buckeyes.
Both Tressel and Pryor were caught up in an inappropriate benefits scandal. The NCAA has decided to decide on Tressel, Pryor and other Buckeyes players after an investigation with the FBI and the Department of Justice. Players were accused of receiving tattoos and cash for signing.
Tressel resigned before the start of the 2011 season after being accused of withholding information in an investigation. Pryor left school before his final year.

Pryor played wide receivers in the NFL and put together a solid career. Tressel never coached in college ranks again. Instead, he served Youngstown State University President from 2014 to 2023.
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has appointed Tressel for the lieutenant governor after John Husted replaced Vice President JD Vance in the US Senate.
“Jim Tressel is Ohio’s values. He’s hardworking and shares that vision (I have) for the future of Ohio,” the Republican governor said at a press conference Monday. . “He has the ability to connect people. He has the ability to lead. He can walk to me and become governor that day, and it will be seamless We can guarantee that this is.”
Tressel expressed his praise for dewine.
