Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bus People told Katie Courick on Tuesday that there is a tendency towards “childcare people” and gardens, and that they will notice the impact of the immigration and customs enforcement (ICE) attacks.
Since the outbreak of riots in her city last week, Bass has largely denounced President Donald Trump for causing anxiety by conducting immigration enforcement efforts to arrest illegal immigrants. She claimed that the action had an impact on the escalating anti-ice protests. Violent arguments and vandalism.
Talk to Courick Reporter’s YouTube channelBass revealed that her biggest concern is the impact of illegal immigrants being arrested or afraid to go to work.
“My biggest fear is the impact that all Angelenos start to feel when they lack immigrant labor,” Bass said. “We feel it in the construction industry. We feel it in hospitality. We feel it in the grocery store. People start to notice.”

She continued, “You think about mothers who have nannies and housekeepers. They feel it when no one is going to raise their children, and no one takes their children to school.
Bass claimed he spoke to someone who said there were empty shelves at the local grocery store. She added that the attacks cause unnecessary “trauma” for families who are not afraid to go to work or send their children to school.
“There are parents who are not sure they can go to work or be afraid to send their children to school. It disrupts their families. It creates incredible pressure and tension. You can imagine the effects of mental health on children, especially those who remembered the last Trump administration, or were old enough to remember Covid,” Bass said.
