“He proposed that past DC opposition on the team named Redskins had more to do with Dan Snyder than with his name,” radio host Grant Paulsen wrote of Mendelson. “He suggested there would be no problem with DC now welcoming the team under the name Redskins.”

It looked like the latest nod in support of the move as Trump fired two true social posts about his nickname over the weekend.

Director Scott Turner of the Housing and Urban Development, who played for the Redskins I supported the movement on sunday.

“Washington ‘All-All’ should soon rename the Washington Redskins soccer team. There’s a huge appeal to this,” Trump first wrote. “Similarly, the Cleveland Indians are one of six original baseball teams and are a renowned past.

“Our great Indians want this in large quantities. Their heritage and fame are systematically taken away from them. The times are different from three or four years ago. We are a country of passion and common sense.

He then threatened to take over the old RFK Stadium site, which endangers the commander’s contract if he doesn’t return to his name.

Commander’s general manager, DC mayor, is not guilty of Trump’s comments on the team name.

“My statement about the Washington Redskins has exploded completely, but only in a very positive way,” Trump wrote in the Second Truth Social Post. “If we can remove the outrageous monica “Washington Commander” without reverting their name back to the original “Washington Redskins,” then we will not “have a deal to build a stadium in Washington.”

Daniel Snyder changed Washington’s team name from the Washington Redskins to the Washington Football Team before the start of the 2020 season amid the racial tensions of the summer. The team eventually became Washington commander, and Snyder sold the team to Josh Harris.

Harris said on the Fox News channel “Special Report” In April, the team said they plan to build a new stadium in Washington, DC, but will not revive the Redskins’ name.

“The commander’s name actually carries an incredible kind of element in our building,” Harris responded to Brett Bayer’s question about the Redskins’ name, who will be returning as part of this new stadium deal. “So, for example, a certain kind of tough, football-loving player is a delegated commander, Jaden (Daniels) is the commander, and they are ranked.

“And as you know, the business staff got in. Obviously, we’re in a military city here. There are more military personnel than anywhere else, so we’re moving forward with the commander’s name and getting excited about it and not looking back.”
