vice president jd vance On Tuesday, the US said it would block and block efforts to protect American artificial intelligence and “weaponize” critical technologies.
“Some authoritarian regimes were stolen, using AI to enhance military intelligence and surveillance capabilities, capture foreign data, and create propaganda that undermine the national security of other countries,” Vance said. He said this in his speech at the French AI Action Summit in Paris.
“I want to be clear, this administration will block such efforts and will be a complete halt,” Vance added. “We protect American AI and chip technologies from theft and misuse, and work with allies and partners to enhance and expand these protections and gain AI capabilities to threaten all people. We will expand the road.”
