Partnerships and Global Reach
AST Spacemobile has developed strategic partnerships with leading telecom players around the world. In the US, we are partnering with AT&T and Verizon. Internationally, it partners with Bel Canada, Lacten, Vodafone and other telecommunications providers. These partnerships will potentially allow approximately 2.8 billion people worldwide to access satellite networks.

Technology and manufacturing
AST Spacemobile’s approach to satellite connections is uniquely innovative. It focuses on direct services and distinguishes it from other competitors. The current Bluebird satellite will be deployed to approximately 700 square feet of space, with future satellites being three times larger and 10 times the data capacity. Impressively, 95% of the manufacturing process is completed internally in the US.

As of January 2025, AST Spacemobile has not yet announced any specific pricing for its services. However, given its partnerships with major airlines such as AT&T and Verizon, the service could potentially be offered as an add-on to existing mobile phone plans. The company aims to provide coverage to remote locations and eliminate dead zones, suggesting that pricing could be competitive to attract a wide user base.
