The TCL Z100 speaker makes Atmos more flexible
More than 18 months after being first teased at IFA 2023, TCL has confirmed the release of the Z100, the world’s first Dolby Atmos FlexConnect speaker. The purpose here is to deliver Atmos sound wirelessly and flexibly, allowing a variety of configurations to be used from two to four speakers.
Because it is wireless, the Z100 speakers can be placed anywhere in the room and work with compatible TCL TVs and other Z100 sounds you own, creating 5.1.2 or 7.1.4 channels of Atmos sound. Each speaker is provided with four drivers, including one upward fire, providing 170 watts of total power.
The Z100 is currently compatible with the latest generation of TCL QD-Mini LED TVs. QM6Kand it also doubles as a Bluetooth speaker (without Atmos). It will first become available in France from July 2025, followed by European and US launches. –The courage is burning
Phillips Hugh debuts wall washing machine

The latest Smart lighting release From Phillips Hugh Hue plays the washing machine on the wall. This sophisticated black aluminum device is only 6 inches tall and is designed to sit in a TV cabinet or sideboard. Wash the walls as the name suggests Colorful light. With the new ColorCast Projection technology, the wall washing machine blows light at a wide angle, supporting multiple simultaneous colors and large amounts of lighting effects. Synchronize with existing Hue Lights and systems, such as the Hue HDMI Sync Box and the TV and PC Sync apps. People can set the intensity, speed, brightness, 3D positioning and orientation of the light emitted in the Hue app. This month, a single wall washing machine will cost you Pretty spicy $220or you can get two packs for $385.
Selected markets already have access to AI assistants built into the Hue app. This can be asked to generate scenes based on mood and activity, but in July and August it has been deployed worldwide (including the US) in the UK. –Simon Hill
