Thomas Frank isn’t worried despite Tottenham not defeating two League One teams

Thomas Frank insisted that he was happy despite Tottenham failing to beat the League Ones with his two separate best friends today.

Featuring Christian Romero, Richarrison and his son Heung Ming, Spurs XI was tied for a 2-2 draw by Wycom in the first game, then another strong side.

Pape Matar Sarr scored both goals against Wycombe before Tel and Kudus, who totaled £85 million in the window this summer.

Despite the lack of victory, Frank was reasonably happy with the runout.

He told Spurs Play: “Overall, it’s okay, I’m happy. I’m sure the big takeout in the positives is that we’ve got to most players 75 minutes — that’s why we played two mixed teams at the end of both games and sunk into all the young people.

There was something positive about it – Frank

The Wycombe game was an interesting event that I played on Hotspur Way. Sarr’s goal came to either side of Armando Quitirna’s braces.

“Wycombe game, the positive thing, I felt the high pressure and recovery on the ball was very successful in many ways throughout the game,” the former Brentford boss said. “We’ve got it back, but I don’t know how many times, but we created six very dangerous situations where we should do more, and scored a good second goal through Pape.

“Also, it was good to run behind Wycomb in the first few minutes, so we were really focused on it. The big focus is on us defending well, and we decided two goals that we should not give to Wycomb.”

“Work a little” like Spurs drawing a blank in Luton

Dominique Solanke and Destiny Udogie missed Luton’s game. The latter brought out warm-up as a precaution.

Frank said: “It was a game I felt. ‘Okay, we should work on a bit.’ It was a mixed team of two that were a bit out of sync. The boys put everything in it.

The Spurs head to the Far East for a friendly match between North London rivals Arsenal on Thursday and Newcastle next Sunday.
