Tiktok adds new parent controls, tools for creators
Tiktok announced on Wednesday that it is releasing a number of new features, including enhanced parental control, additional tools for creators, and new interactive welfare features. That too Footnotes have been publishedits fact check system.
Social networks bring new parental control to family pairings. This feature allows parents to link their accounts to their teenage accounts and customize their safety settings. Parents can now block certain accounts on teenage accounts. Blocked accounts cannot interact with teens, and teens will not display their account’s content in their feed.
Additionally, parents will be automatically notified when a teen uploads a public video, story or photo. Tiktok says this helps parents stay informed about their teen posting without disrupting their creativity.

Parents now have more visibility into the privacy settings teens choose. For example, you can check if your teenager (ages 16-17) has enabled content downloading, or if the following list appears in other lists:
Tiktok is also running “Creator Care Mode.” This automatically filters out any comments identified as discomfort, inappropriate or profanity. It also filters comments from users who have reported comments, disliked, or deleted.
According to Tiktok, the feature uses AI to understand how users can block and delete content. Therefore, if the author repeatedly deletes or reports certain types of comments, these types of comments are less likely to appear in the comments section.
Tiktok Live’s new comment tool allows creators to block words completely from comments. Additionally, users who comment on phrases previously or who comment on future phrases will be muted for the period selected by the author.

To help creators manage their messages better, Tiktok launches a new professional inbox experience called “Creator Inbox.” Includes “Unread” and “Starred” folders. Creators can also set up custom responses to address questions commonly asked, and create quick replies to share these responses on one tap.
Tiktok is officially launched A unique version of Instagram broadcast channel It is called the “Creator Chat Room.” You can use these spaces to share exclusive updates, get feedback, and promote events and content.
Creators’ chat rooms are available to creators who are at least 18-year-old creators with at least 5,000 followers and have a subscription or live fan club. The chat will close with 300 people, and creators can have at least 20 different types of chats.
Creators can also access “Content Check Lite.” This is a new feature that allows users to see if content is displayed in For Feed. This allows users to make the necessary changes before posting.
Tiktok is testing a wide range of content checking capabilities that allow creators to create whether content adheres to social network community guidelines before it is published on the platform.

Social Networks have also announced that it will launch a new feature called Wellbeing Missions. This is a series of short quizzes and interactive flashcards that will help you develop balanced digital habits. Users will earn badges when they complete these missions.
Tiktok says it is building a new in-app dedicated digital well-being experience with tools like breathing exercises, calming audio tracks, and screentime insights.
