Michael Heat: Today we’re talking about Tiktok. What makes this app so unique and very vulnerable? We all have our favourite Tiktok personalities, our favourite videos, and our favourite subsections. But what is Tiktok? Where do you come from? When did you first start to get hooked on it? And why are we so obsessed with it?

Zoe Schiffer: The simple answer is that Tiktok is a Chinese social media app with around 170 million active users per month in the US. Specifically, there are a lot of young people. In particular, the Gen Z has a choke hold.
